Book a free callDo I need to travel to Portugal?
No. The whole process is remote - you order online, e-sign a power of attorney, and we handle the NIF registration and bank account opening from Braga. Your documents arrive by email.
How long does it take?
Your NIF is typically ready in 1–2 weeks. The Novo Banco account follows once the NIF is issued, usually 2–3 weeks after ordering. We keep you updated at every step.
What do you need from me?
A copy of your passport, proof of address in your home country, and a few e-signatures. We prepare everything else, including the power of attorney.
What is tax representation?
Non-EU residents must appoint a fiscal representative in Portugal to hold a NIF. Twelve months of representation is included in the package - no extra fee.
Do I need a visa first?
No - it works the other way around. You can get a NIF and bank account before any visa, and most visa applications (D7, D8, Golden Visa) expect you to have both already.
Can I buy just one of the two?
Yes - the NIF and the bank account are available as individual services. The package bundles both at one flat price, which is the route most people starting out take.
