We built Viv Europe from the other side of the move — as the people who needed it first.
I didn't read about Europe's immigration process. I lived it: lost documents, emails that went unanswered, appointments that got booked and then vanished, months spent on what should have taken weeks. And the paperwork wasn't even the hard part. The hard part was doing it alone, with my whole life on hold.
The struggle was mine, but fixing it became a team effort. In 2020, in Braga, we started building the company that should have existed when I needed it: a licensed firm with the support of real lawyers, a process that uses technology to actually keep things moving, and people who treat your move like the life event it is rather than a case in a queue.
What began with one person's move is now a team across Braga, Porto, Lisbon, and Madrid. Six years in, we've helped more than 3,000 families build new lives in Portugal and Spain, and the goal hasn't changed: make moving to Europe feel less like a fight and more like a beginning.
